In my private studio at the Nic de Roeverstraat in Amsterdam I mainly work with porcelain, creating jewellery and meters long necklaces. It is nice and quiet with a beautiful view and a lot of light.

Additionally, I work together with Monique McKenzie (Studio Mo) and together we started the 'Amsterdams kleibedrijf' in the lumber ports (houthavens). A new 'clay space' in Amsterdam where people can rent a workspace and take courses. A creators place, exhibition space and a place to meet up. In our bright, well-equipped studio you can work with the beautiful diversity and the challenge that clay offers. Our goal is to have a space where people can inspire and stimulate each other and in which they can share their knowledge and skills. Studio Mo en Petra Harzing – Muddog Kleiwerk  in de houthavens het Amsterdams kleibedrijf gestart. Een nieuwe kleiplek in Amsterdam waar mensen een werkplek kunnen huren en cursussen kunnen volgen. Een makersplek, ontmoetingsplek en expoplek. In ons lichte, goed geoutilleerde atelier kun je werken met de prachtige diversiteit en uitdaging die klei biedt. Ons doel is een plek waar mensen elkaar stimuleren en hun vaardigheden en kennis kunnen delen.
