Dutch collars

During the first weeks of the COVID-19 pandemic, I withdrew myself into my studio and with a super focus, I aimed at developing a new collection of jewellery. These delicate necklaces are made of thin, half balls of coloured porcelain. Every bead is handmade and the rhythm of repetition makes the necklace. The diameter of every 'bead' is circa 2 cm. The colour can be combined with both chique clothes as with denim. All beads have been in the kiln three times: the bisque firing 980°C, glazing 1120°C and later on, the processing with real gold luster at 800°C. The necklaces have a length of circa 48 cm and can be adjusted.
